The Major Markets & Credit Research team focuses on the Eurozone and the US. It analyzes and forecasts the economy, central bank policy and government bond markets. In addition, special focus is placed on assessing the credit quality of the Republic of Austria and downstream state-owned enterprises (SSAs). Credit Research analyzes selected issuers from the financial and corporate sectors in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe. Another focus is the top-down analysis of international stock markets, global industries and equities.

As part of a profound bottom-up analysis, the CEE Equity Research team analyzes listed companies in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe. Research units in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Turkey use their local expertise and direct access to the companies to provide investors with an independent, objective picture.
